About Us

Young AFCEA Bethesda is an organization for DC Metro area young professionals who work in or with civilian government agencies in the areas of communications, IT, and security.
AFCEA is an international non-profit membership association with more than 120 chapters that connects government and industry in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. The Bethesda Chapter of AFCEA focuses on U.S. civilian agencies. Started in 2004, Young AFCEA Bethesda welcomes, mentors, and connects professionals in the first half of their careers. Our board is made of members of the local community — who are committed to increasing the dialog between civilian and government IT organizations. We organize networking and professional development events throughout the year. If you are interested in participating, please go to Join Us for more information. Follow us on GovLoop, Twitter, and Facebook to stay up to date!
